Our Pastor

I grew up in a Christian home. My dad was a Baptist preacher, preparing to be a missionary. I learned early in church and Sunday School what it meant to be saved. I began asking my sister about salvation at the age of four. Our family was preparing for deputation to go to the mission field. One Sunday while visiting a church in Traverse City Michigan, I was born again in Sunday School.I was five years old at the time and I had a clear understanding as a child that I was a sinner and that Christ died on the cross for my sin. I believe without doubt that when I knelt that day and prayed that I was saved by His Grace.

As a young boy I felt the call of God in my life to be a preacher. I don't remember the exact day or time, but that is the only thing that I dreamed of. I preached my first time when I was around 10 years old. I have always had a great burning desire to preach and be used of God.

On October 13th, 2021 Community Baptist Church voted to call me as their Pastor. We are excited about the work that God has for us here in Curwensville.
