Dear Church Family,
Greetings once again from your extended church family! I am thankful that the Lord has given us the opportunity to be a part of CBC these past 13 years. We are looking forward to the years ahead partnering together to be used of the Lord to save the lost. A verse that has encouraged me this week is Galatians 6:9, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” It is easy to get weary but let us never forget we do these things not for ourselves (or others), but for our Savior and God! As the song goes, “it will be worth it all when we see Jesus!”
We’ve had an unusual week. I have been helping get a dorm finished here at the college. Praise the Lord they’ve had the largest body of students this year for the past ten years! Brooke was asked to be a substitute teacher at the Christian Academy on Thursday and Friday for third grade. (This made Bennett happy) I was also asked to be a substitute teacher in High School this past Friday because several faculty members were out due to illness.
Thank you for praying for Gracie; she saw one doctor this week and is waiting to see a specialist this coming week. Please keep her in your prayers. I will be in Pinkerington, OH this week filling in for a church that took us on for support this past May. Brooke and the kids will remain here in Knoxville.
The work continues in Kiribati as the church is doing well and they are getting ready to complete the final loads of sand to completely fill the church property. It is amazing what the Lord has done!
We love you all! Please be assured we are praying for you! Thank you for praying for us! May the Lord grant us all the grace to “faint not!”
Serving the Lord always,
